The Horseshoe Crab Protection Act (Act S.4289 /A.4997)

The act has passed both the NY State Senate and Assembly so, all it needs to become law, is for Governor Hochul to sign it.

YOU CAN HELP by sending a postcard, letter or email to Governor Kathy Hochul asking her to sign the Horseshoe Crab Protection

Or mail to:

The Honorable Kathy Hochul

Governor of New York State

NYS State Capitol Building

Albany, NY 12224

Thank you for your support and help in protecting the horseshoe crab. I’m sure if they could, the crabs and the birds would thank you too.

This is a great reminder of how vital horseshoe crabs are to coastal ecosystems and migrating shorebirds. Raising awareness and encouraging public action can make a real difference in protecting these remarkable ancient creatures for future generations. Thank you for sharing this important conservation message. Similarly, an associate level course helper provides students with academic guidance, learning resources, and support to better understand environmental science and ecology.

It’s worrying to see horseshoe crabs listed as vulnerable, especially given how important they are to coastal ecosystems. This article is a helpful reminder that conservation matters. I also recently used a handy morse code translator for converting text to Morse code and Morse code back to readable text.
