Some talking points:
Neil Gorsuch is a conservative "originalist" in the model of Antonin Scalia, interpreting the Constitution very strictly with a pronounced conservative slant.
His previous opinions have questioned allowing Federal agencies to interpret legislation in light of the agencies' regulations - a danger to enforcement of environmental regulations against climate change, etc.
He has written that progressives have relied too much on the courts rather than legislation to achieve changes they want - a danger to Rowe v. Wade and minority rights.
