Please join Sierra Club LI for volunteer event:


What: weeding invasives


When: Saturday, October 12, 2024, 10-12*


Where: Bayard Cutting Arboretum, 440 Montauk Hwy., Great River


*This will be a recurring event on the 2nd Saturday-9/14, 10/12, and 11/9 from 10-12



Meet at the new Visitors Center at the far end of the parking lot closest to the manor house. Check in at the desk and pick up a parking pass.


$8 PARKING FEE WILL BE WAIVED FOR VOLUNTEERS


Notes: Wear close toed shoes, pants, hat, and garden gloves. Bring water. The Arboretum staff will provide bug spray.



If you want, we can stay for lunch at the Hidden Oak Cafe at the manor house.
