The Long Island CSA Fair

The Long Island CSA Fair Saturday, April 13th 11 AM to 3 PM Admission is free!

Sisters of St. Joseph Farm 1725 Brentwood Rd, Building #2 Brentwood, NY

Come support local agriculture at the Long Island CSA Fair! (CSA = Community Supported Agriculture)

Find the program that’s right for you.

The time to sign up for a share in a Community Supported Agricultural programs is now! To help you compare the different CSA programs, NOFA-NY (Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York), Slow Food North Shore, the Long Island Food Coalition and iEat Green are bringing many of Long Island's farmers together, under one roof, to meet with potential customers and to make connections at the Long Island CSA Fair on Saturday, April 13th!

Over 19 farms from across Long Island will be participating. This will be a great opportunity to meet the farmers, and to learn more about each individual CSA program, allowing you to choose the perfect program that suits your family’s needs. Some programs offer just produce, while others have “add on” options like fruit, flowers, cheese, bread, eggs, meat and fish.

CSA's support local farmers by purchasing a weekly share of the harvest and paying up front, giving the farmer the financial support at the beginning of the season when they need it. Some programs offer payment plans so you do not need to pay all up front. Either way, CSA’s are one of the best ways to get fresh organic produce at reasonable and fair price! We all know that eating more fruits and vegetables, and supporting local, sustainable agriculture is great for your health and that of our planet.

The CSA Fair will be hosted indoors, at the Sisters of St. Joseph Farm, 1725 Brentwood Road, Building #2, Brentwood, Long Island, from 11:00am - 3:00pm on Saturday April 13th, 2019.

The fair is FREE and open to all who are interested. You can come for a few minutes, or stay for the whole time! Refreshments will be served.

Sponsored by Slow Food North Shore, NOFA-NY, the Long Island Food Coalition and iEat Green.
